Grindeys have secured the Law Society's new conveyancing quality mark

The Quality Conveyancing LogoGrindeys are delighted to announce that they have been awarded the prestigious Quality Conveyancing Scheme practice standard.  The accreditation is awarded by The Law Society and recognises exceptional standards of professionalism amongst residential conveyancing solicitors.

We successfully completed the rigorous application and have undergone a strict assessment, compulsory training, audits and reviews in order to demonstrate that we offer an excellent level of service to our clients.

Suzanne Doherty, Head of Residential Conveyancing , says, “Buying a property is a major transaction and buyers and sellers need to choose their legal representatives carefully. The Quality Conveyancing Scheme is a quality mark that will give clients the reassurance they need.”  Recent Law Society research indicates that the public are actively choosing to take their business to firms with CQS accreditation.

Suzanne goes on to say, “This award also gives us the opportunity to congratulate the residential property team at Grindeys. The application process for the award was thorough but to achieve it we required very little procedural change since the team are, and always have been, dedicated to the highest levels of customer service. However, to have that recognised by an independent body is a real boost for morale.”

The scheme has been well received and has the support of the Council of Mortgage Lenders, The Land Registry, The Buildings Society Association, The Legal Ombudsman and the Association of British Insurers. In fact, a recent press release from the Council of Mortgage lenders gives a strong indication that CQS accreditation is likely to be a prerequisite for membership of lenders’ conveyancing panels.

The CQS accreditation is likely to become an essential ingredient in helping firms to compete in the conveyancing market which is great news for consumers who can now make an informed choice about who they can trust to help with, what will be for most, the biggest transaction of their life.
